Yaba is often regarded as the “Heartbeat of Lagos Mainland” and is one of the most popular suburbs located in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area.

Numerous hungry and deprived persons still find their abode and means of livelihood in the area. Part of the 2017 projects involved a Trinitas Organisation initiative, Feed-Yaba, which fed over 1,000 people at the village in Yaba, Lagos.
