Trinitas Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit and voluntary organization founded by Ade George in 2015 with the objective of providing sustainable empowerment to women, food to the needy and robust educational support for children.
Trinitas foundation, in conjunction with community role models, schools and socio-economic development schemes, organize programs and seminars aimed at sensitizing girls to enhance a success mentality for a better future.
In the bid to fight hunger in the society, Trinitas Foundation has food banks supported by volunteers, partners and excess food from hotels and restaurants.
Founded in 2015, our mission is To empower extremely vulnerable women and to equip them with the necessary requirements to regain their dignity and value and to break the cycles of poverty and hunger in the family setting.
Trinitas foundation exists to create a culture where African women are free from the stigmas of being regarded as subordinates. We exist to change the cycle of African children being forced into child marriages. No child should have his or her innocence stolen.
We also exist to create a culture of hope and compassion for the needy in our communities. No child should go to bed hungry.
Our Core Values
The value of women to any society is unique and we radically oppose the depreciation of women in African societies.
We want girls to be taught from a young age that they are of equal value to boys and they should be equally valued and respected.
We believe that the change we want comes from within and we have to be that change by taking action.
The support for homeless people and people living in extreme poverty is almost nonexistent and we want to be at the frontline in the battle against poverty and all it brings.
Losing a partner or husband shouldn’t mean a death sentence but for most of these women, this is their reality. We need to protect them, give them a chance to normal life even though the normal could be different without their partner.
Help us support these women through our widow empowerment program. These women could become leaders in their various communities, that is why we want to empower them through various entrepreneurial projects and skills.
Over the years, we have been able to empower over 1000 widows in various communities around Lagos and Nigeria as a whole Over 700 of their children have gotten scholarships to study, and based on their educational report, these kids are the smartest amongst their peers.
Child malnutrition has been known to cause overlapping deficiencies of protein, energy, and micronutrients. Most times we get to see children exhibiting symptoms of kwashiorkor due to nutrient deficiency. This as well can impair their ability to concentrate, learn, and study.
With the poor economy access to good healthy meals is always a problem for the less privileged and the vulnerable. We want to bridge that gap and provide healthily cooked and raw foods to these families and individuals.
We cannot do this alone, we need your help by becoming a volunteer with us. Together we can bring about a change.
Our five-year program helps villagers identify most vulnerable children and develop care plans for them
Education is one of the most powerful weapons in fighting poverty in our communities. When a child gets the education they deserve, they become less of a target for gangs and crime in their various communities.
Our belief at Trinitas foundation is that every child has the right to quality education. Trinitas foundation educational programs can sponsor children until the tertiary level.
Over 2000 children have gained access to study in various schools with Trinitas Foundation’s educational project.
These kids have proven to be among the smartest in their classes and we want to continue spooning their education even until university level. They can become the change the country needs.
