Worker’s Day 2022:- Trinitas Foundation empowers the next generation of engineers.

In recent years, “Empowerment” as a concept has lost significance.

This is due in part to charities and organizations not putting structural and sustainable processes in place.

At Trinitas, we have the structure and we see empowerment as the giving of power/authority to someone by giving them more capacity: the tools they need to provide for themselves.

Trinitas Workers Program (TWP)

To celebrate Worker’s day 2022, we launched the annual Trinitas worker’s program (TWP).

This program aims to empower young workers.

Our partner, Buhler NG are very passionate about empowerment in Africa and have decided to kick this program off by giving paid internship positions to 3 lucky young engineers.

Congratulations to Esther Fatunase, Chidera Okafor and Great Nwankire-Jonathan.

These beneficiaries also have the opportunity to progress into the Buhler trainee programme and become full employees of Buhler.

Buhler group is one of the biggest industrial machinery manufacturers in the world and cover the basic food and machinery needs of billions of people around the world, everyday.

This is real empowerment as it should be and on a personal note, I am proud of our association with Buhler.

I am really grateful to Manuel and Olivier of Buhler Group for their genuine kindness and leadership in helping us kickstart this annual program .

As expected, we had hundreds of applications and we believe that in time, we will be able to provide more internship opportunities to much more beneficiaries across the continent.

Nevertheless , we were able to donate tens of powered tool boxes to applicants.

These toolboxes will offer opportunities to these young engineers to incorporate extra functionalities in their trade.

Mainstreet Capital donated some of these tool boxes and my special appreciation goes to Mr Muyiwa Ariyo for this generosity.

To the Trinitas team, this wasn’t easy given how busy we’ve been this year and I am super proud of everyone.
