THE TRINITAS CHRISTMAS CHEER
The year 2020 was truly an unforgettable one for all and sundry. Economies crumbled, businesses nose-diving, and many individuals losing their jobs.
The effect of the Covid-19 pandemic reached the depths of every part of the world with the underprivileged populace absorbing most of the heat, not to mention the sudden loss of lives resulting in emotional traumas for various families around the nation.
The light at the end of the tunnel, the festive season, is another opportunity to have comfort, cheer, and widespread joy that has been absent for many after a long while.
Bearing this in mind, Trinitas Foundation in partnership with a few private sector companies and individuals initiated The Christmas Cheer with the goal of empowering 1,000 families with N10,000 cash and groceries for Christmas coupled with 500 kids’ school shoes and clothing for the elderly.
This initiative was aimed at spreading the much-needed cheer to as many as possible, causing many to end the year on a good note.
It was indeed a successful event at the Trinitas Christmas Village on the 20th of December 2020, with numerous families and individuals had smiles put on their faces.
